I’ve been busy. Busy making comics. I started posting See You In Hell last year on my Patreon, and it’s been going great. I just released the collected first issue this week as a digital comic, and I’m going to finish the second issue in the next couple of weeks here. You can buy it here, or you may want to consider joining my Patreon at the Exclusive Access level to get this issue and all future issues for free as long as you are a member.
You can read the entire comic on Patreon (or on Instagram, Threads, etc). By becoming a free member, you’ll get notified when there are new updates. If you sign up for Early Access, you’ll be about three weeks ahead of the free members. Exclusive Access will get you each collected issue for free to download, along with bonus comics. And at the Process Junkies level, you’ll get process posts, vlogs, and other special features.
That’s my sales pitch. Now let’s get into what this means to me personally. I have created more comics in the last year than I did in the previous decade. And I made two issues of a comic in a year. One that is deeply personal to me. So it just feels so much sweeter of an accomplishment getting to this place. And it’s been nice to reconnect with people professionally and personally now that I’m more active with my art.
However, I didn’t mean to neglect the blog for this long. I was working on adding See You In Hell to the site. I built a custom plugin that made the comic mobile responsive with a transcript. I started in March and it was just too much for me to accomplish. The plugin was easy enough. But it just takes a lot of time to get the comic to be mobile responsive, and to write transcripts. I’m putting it all on Patreon anyway. Why duplicate the work? And I wasn’t writing because I had all of this in a Staging environment so I didn’t want to duplicate blog posts back and forth. Basically I was so busy I did nothing.
So I’m going to be writing here again more. And again, if you want more insight into what I’m doing, I recommend joining us on Patreon. Even if you join as a free member, you get to read the comic. At the highest level of membership, I post four times a week without fail: videos, vlogs, commentary, bonus comics, and pinups. I hope you’ll join us.
