I have officially finished See You In Hell. I’ve actually been done for awhile now. I’ve been taking the opportunity to work on my website, change my newsletter provider, and to retool my Patreon.

It’s hard to pay attention to all the balls you need to juggle as an independent cartoonist. Especially when you are in the middle of a book. But one thing I’ve realized while creating See You In Hell is that I’m not an entity. I am a person. I think there is so much pressure on artists to optimize themselves as a “business.” And I’m just so tired of doing that. I didn’t write much on this blog because I couldn’t figure out what I needed to do. What I needed to do was just write. Because I love writing. And I love “the personal web.”

So while I work on my next book, I want to make my digital home a place that spawns delight.

Fun. Not SEO.

I want it to become a destination again. Like it was. And instead of rebuilding it as a grand gesture, I’m going to iterate over time.
